JanSport has teamed up with the Forecastle Festival, the largest gathering of musicians, artists, and environmentalists in the Midwest, to give you a chance to share the stage with some of the best musicians out there. You’ll play in front of thousands of people PLUS be exposed to influential music industry reps.

On October 15, 2008, a panel of judges from JanSport and Forecastle will choose eight finalists, who will be judged in accordance with the judging criteria in the rules. All finalists will receive a JanSport prize package.
The winner will be announced and will perform at “Halfway to Forecastle” Concert in Louisville, Kentucky January, 2009.
JanSport will fly the winning band to Louisville to play Forecastle Festival in July ’09!
The contest is US residents 18 or older, who are in an amateur unsigned band.
